AIRWALK BMX TEAM RIDES FOR WISSE, HOLLMANN & CO. Stunt Riders Perform during the Stanley Cup Playoffs RALEIGH, N.C. (April 18, 2002) - Wisse, Hollmann & Company has added Team Airwalk, a nationally renowned bicycle stunt team to their list of represented sports properties. The high-flying stunt team features some of the world's top BMX riders from across the nation. Three separate Airwalk Teams are based on each coast and in the Midwest and perform at a host of sporting and cultural events. Crowds turned out in droves before Games One and Two outside the Pepsi Center in Denver to witness Team Airwalk, "The Greatest Show Off Earth" perform astonishing tricks and gravity-defying stunts. Avalanche director of game operations, Kyle Keefe was very pleased with Team Airwalk's performances. “The Airwalk BMX Team was awesome! The show is fast and furious, and the riders are extremely talented,” said Keefe who has pledged to book Team Airwalk for a number of pregame events next season. Team Airwalk has been performing for more than a decade. Their athletes have been featured on the ESPN X-Games, the NBC Gravity Games, MTV, Baywatch and a number of television commercials. Each of their shows involves at least three ramp riders, an inline skater or a skateboarder and a deejay who announces and mixes exciting music to accompany the action on the stage and in the air. Their shows also stress safety and drug-free lifestyles - mixing good times with positive messages.
